Winter Solstice 2022
Dear reader, On this darkest day of the year, who's giving nature the permission to hibernate? Exactly, just unapologetically tending to its needs to come back to life when ready.

We often know what we need right now, but succeed in finding a reason to say 'just not right now'. This might sound like ... Oh I'll just finish this thing before I take a break (even though I'm thirsty and I have to pee!). If I just get all my to dos over the line, I can finally take some rest. Maybe I can get some time to myself once I've replied to all my messages. How would it feel to tend to the world fully rested, recharged and energized? The only one who can gift yourself permission to fill your needs right now, is you. So here it is, the permission to surrender, gifted by nature and free to take. What boundaries or limitations have you put in place to keep you from what your heart truly desires?

Can we let go of what we should feel like and surrender to our experience in this very moment. Feel your heart, be gentle with it, gift it what it needs whilst you move into the new year. Pay attention to where your mind drifts and pause. Surrender to the rest, the stillness, the togetherness, the joy, the peacefulness ... all of it. Taking my permission to log off now and feeling myself into 2023. I'll be reading, writing, moving and sitting on the mat, walking in nature, celebrating together, eating, laughing, playing games, dancing, doing crafty things, enjoying hot drinks, reflecting on my year, setting intentions, all the other things as well as absolutely nothing at all. I'm already feeling excited when thinking about what will come to life next year, just not right now.
